I have listed below a selection of drum kits which I currently recommend for students that are just starting out, as well as for more advanced players.

Sonix Starter Drumkit		The new Sonix drum kit offers the starter player a far higher level of quality at a competitive price. It comes as a full kit (as seen) in various finishes and two sizes (rock and fusion) fitted with Remo heads and superb hardware. Sonix kits have double braced quality hardware with a double braced throne and smooth action bass drum pedal. The only downside to this product is the “Tinfoil” cymbals so you may want look at upgrading them to something more solid and better sounding (I have included two upgrade options below). Sonor 507		Sonor 507 is a fantastic starter kit which includes, Bass Drum, Two rack Toms, Floor Tom, Snare Drum (steel), 2x TA 503 Tom Tomholders, Tensionrods with TuneSafe, 4-pcs Hardware Set from the 100 Series, Set containing Hi-Hat Stand (HH-174), Snare Drum Stand (SS-177), straight Cymbal stand (CS-171) and Single Bass Drum Pedal (SP-273). Kit comes in various colours and three sizes (Rock, Fusion and Jazz). Please note that cymbals and drum throne are not included in price option 1. Option 1: £375 Kit sold as seen with no extras. Pearl Vision (Birch VBX)		Introducing the VBX, Pearl's most affordable 100% Birch drum set. Birch has long been recognised for its focused, naturally EQ'd sound, ideal for both stage and studio. VBX comes in standard sizes (Rock, Fusion and Jazz) with professional Two Ply heads, a Steel SensiTone snare drum, and award-winning 900 Series Hardware.
