PARTNERSHIP AND MASTERCLASS WITH DRUMTECH LONDON!
In August 2009, DrumWorks was approached by Drumtech (London) to act as the local representative of their music school. Drumtech is one of the leading contemporary music colleges in Europe and has an unbeatable track record in preparing students for the music industry (www.drum-tech.co.uk). As a result of this partnership with DrumWorks, the Director of Drumtech will be in the island later this year to give presentations to those over 16s who may be interested in enrolling on a music course at Drumtech in the future.
As well as giving presentations, it is likely that the Director of Drumtech, Frances Seriau will hold a drum masterclass while he is in Guernsey whereby he would demonstrate on the drumkit and answer questions from the audience. If this event is successful, it may lead to further masterclasses in the future from other leading drummers. Please keep checking the News page on my website for updates.

VIDEO SUPPORT MATERIAL
Often students find it difficult to remember the practical exercises given to them during their lessons and therefore find that their progress can be affected as a result.
Consequently, I have created video support materials to accompany the sheet music provided during the lessons. Videos range from £2 to £4 depending upon the length of the video. They can be accessed through this website. On purchasing a video, a password will be issued which will enable permanent access to the clip. Alternatively, I can provide a CD with the required lessons.

ROCKSCHOOL DRUM GRADES
A big congratulations to all my students who took their drum grade exams earlier this year. All 14 students who took exams passed! I am planning on bringing an examiner back to the island for two sessions next year, one in February half term and the other sometime between May and July. Please get in contact if you wish your son or daughter to take an exam.
DRUMMING EQUIPMENT
